Getting in Tune

Whole health isn't limited to what we eat and how we exercise alone.  Our thoughts and feelings have a profound impact on our health and ability to detox, lose weight and process the nutrients we need.

Be aware of your thoughts.  Listen to your self talk.  Is it angry, negative, complaining and blaming or is it kind, patient, encouraging, solution focused and resilient?

In the movie "WHAT THE BLEEP DO WE KNOW" there is a chapter about Dr. Masaru Emoto's experiments with water.  He wrote a book "Messages from Water"  Thoughts and emotions actually changed the structure of the water molecules.  It's a fascinating study. The positive and negatives messages attached to the water and even the music played created organized beautiful crystals or disorganized blobs.  Our bodies are about 80% water.  So imagine what our thoughts can do to change our health and longevity...

Our conscious minds are limited flawed and forgetful, but our subconscious is aware of and remembers every little detail of everything we have seen, heard and felt.

It's clear to me that we are not just our physical bodies, but there is a consciousness that is stronger than impulses and wants of the body.

When I get in a rut and my body wants to sleep in and skip a work out or eat a plate of junk food something inside of me wakes up and says "NO!"  Body, you are not the boss of me.  I will do what I know feels good and is best in the long run.

When you live clean and eat clean you are more in tune with your body and can feel natural healthy cravings and feelings that aren't cluttered and bogged down by the addictions of the processed foods and chemicals that inundate our lives.

Dr. Bradley Nelson wrote a nationally famous book, "the Emotion Code."  Using muscle testing he teaches people to get in tune with their body and find the things that are blocking optimum health.

I've been trying muscle testing and sometimes it flows and other times it is so frustrating I just don't even try for weeks!  I
t's interesting to me the days I get clear answers and the days I can't seem to get in tune seem closely related to my eating, exercise, health and stress levels.
